Jay attended Florida International University in Miami, Florida where he earned a Bachelor's in Accounting and Chemistry. Then, in 2008 he graduated from the University of Florida with a Juris Doctorate Degree.
Jay has worked as an Attorney, Certified Public Accountant, and as a former Certified Fraud Examiner. In the legal arena he has worked extensively with contracts including Confidential Disclosures, Construction, Insurance and Franchise Agreements. He has also successfully, filed Family-based Immigration Petitions.
Jay has worked in Public Accounting and Auditing testing controls for giant fast food restaurants and television networks. At the same time, he has worked with small businesses providing: Accounting Services – Financial Statements & Analysis, Tax Return Services – Individuals, Corporations & Partnerships, Consulting Services – Start-up ventures.
In his spare time, Jay teaches accounting courses at Houston Community College. He also serves as the Treasurer a local Parent Teacher Organization. He has served on the Home Owner's Association Finance Committee.
